Cute Christmas Decoration/Card Idea

Here’s what it looks like in a Christmas montage on my shelf…
What you need:
- White or cream cardstock or art paper
- Brown ink pad (for thumbprint)
- Tan colored pencil or fine gold paint pen (to draw antlers)
- Red paint (for nose and dots around edge)
- Green paint (for dots around edge)
- Black pen (for eyes and labeling family names under each reindeer)
- Picture frame (if framing)
First, cut card stock to fit frame. Dip each person’s right thumb on brown ink pad. Make sure you leave enough room for each family member (or pet…yes, we did one for Baxter…I used my pinky for his). I then drew the antlers with a tan colored pencil, dotted on black dots for eyes, used the end of a paintbrush to make a little round painted nose, and used the end of the paint brush to make a cute green and red border. I then wrote each family member’s name under our respective deer.
Voila! Simple as that! If you want to be really crafty, you could copy the image onto cardstock once dry at an office supply store or scan it in and make your own cards. Have fun creating your own herd!

Do something worthwhile with all those little party favors… Very cool website for bedding, wall stickers, and more…
